I just read that my troop took first place at...
Last year, I promised myself I wouldn’t take the competition trail again.
This year, a group of scouts all much younger than me went to take first against patrols of high school kids.
I’m proud of them. I don’t regret my decision to not go, but I am amazed that this group that I once saw as hopeless, immature, and incompetent went and accomplished this.
